In the Seams: Winter outfits to try before warm weather begins

As the temperature continues to drop, the winter coats and furry boots have definitely made their way into our closets. The harsh snow falls and blustery cold temperatures makes finding the right outfit difficult.

Here are a few essential pieces you need in your closet this winter to look cute and stay cozy!
It is undeniable that over the knee boots don’t make a bold statement.

One of my favorite things about these boots is that they combine with almost any look and can transform it into a new style. They can be paired with so many types of outfits and come in all types of colors and styles.

One of my favorite ways I wear mine is with a pair of skinny jeans and a sweater. Over the knee boots have been this season’s new foot wear of choice with its elegant and empowering look.

Fuzzy coats are a must-have in everyone’s closet. Not only are they the most comfortable coats you can own, but they keep you warm in those harsh snow storms.

Fuzzy coats are a major trend in the fashion industry. They are also known as the “teddy bear coat” because of how comfortable they are.

Fuzzy coats are very versatile, they come in a cropped style or in an oversized style. One of my go-to pieces in my closet has been my tan-colored, cropped fuzzy coat that I like to pair with black leggings and a white top.

Whether they are tucked into a skirt or paired with jeans, sweaters have always been a favorite winter piece for me and are essential for staying warm in the winter. There are many different styles of sweaters to wear.

Some of my favorite styles include turtleneck, cable knit and crew neck. The best part about sweaters is that they can be dressed up or worn casually.

If I want to look very put together yet still be comfortable and look cute, my go-to look would be a cable knit sweater with a pair of high-waisted skinny jeans and booties.
