In the Seams: Outfits to prepare for spring weather

As the weather gradually starts to get warmer and the flowers slowly start to bloom, now is the perfect time to start preparing ourselves for the spring season. Here are three items of clothing everyone should have ready to go this spring.

1. Midi dresses. Midi dresses provide that put-together and effortless look, while giving the comfort you want when wearing a dress. Examples of popular midi dress patterns include floral print and polka dots, and a popular color of these midi dresses for this 2020 spring is pastel. Some of the best midi dresses can be found at stores like American Eagle and Brandy Melville.

2. Platform sandals. Platform sandals have been the trend for the warmer seasons because they pair perfectly with midi dresses. The look of a midi dress with platform sandals can make for the best daytime outfit. These cute and comfortable sandals can be found at stores such as Steve Madden and Nasty Gal.

3. Straw bags. Straw bags have made their way back into style for this spring season, particularly smaller, crossbody ones. These bags can go hand in hand with the midi dress and platform shoes. The straw bag is handy because of its crossbody style, which makes it convenient for shopping or running errands. All together, this bag completes any outfit and is essential if you are on the go. Affordable straw bags can be found at stores like Target and Walmart.
