Beckles autopsy completed

Clinton County Coroner David Donah ruled the death of Plattsburgh State student Kodi Beckles natural in early August after Albany Medical Center pathologist Michael Sikirica determined the cause of death to be cardio-respiratory arrest.

Sikirica also determined that the seizure disorder Beckles suffered from served a part in his death.

An earlier autopsy, performed in April after Beckles was found in a wooded area behind Knight Automotive in Plattsburgh, was proven inconclusive pending further investigation by the New York State Police, Plattsburgh City Police Department and University Police.

PSUC Vice President of Student Affairs Bryan Hartman could not be reached for comment.
