11:01 a.m. — Whiteface Hall — University Police responded to Whiteface Hall for a report that a student had broken the window to his dorm room. A report was filed.
6:35 p.m. — Angell Center — University Police responded to the Subway in the ACC for an employee who was having difficulty breathing. The individual was transported to the hospital via ambulance. A report was filed.
11:48 a.m. — Service Compound — An employee turned in two baggies containing marijuana that were found on the ground in the service compound. The marijuana was secured in evidence. A report was filed.
2:26 p.m. — Hawkins Hall — A faculty member reported that he believed someone entered his locked office over the weekend and adjusted the blinds. Nothing was reported missing. There was no sign of forced entry. A report was filed.
7:25 p.m. — Kent Hall — A student reported being harassed by her roommate’s boyfriend who is not affiliated with the college. The harassment occurred over the telephone and internet. A report was filed.
2:11 p.m. — Macomb Hall — While on foot patrol in Macomb Hall, University Police detected the odor of marijuana coming from a room. A student admitted to possessing marijuana. College charges were forwarded and a crime incident report was filed.
4:30 a.m. — Whiteface Hall — A resident student requested a lock change after an unknown male entered her locked room. The student stated that the male attempted to code in twice and that he entered on the second attempt. The male appeared startled, said he was in the wrong room, and left. University Police checked the area but did not locate the male. The room combination was changed and a report was filed.
8:18 a.m. — Myers Fine Arts — University Police responded to a report of a suspicious male in the lobby of Myers. The area was checked and the male was not located. A report was filed.
12:53 p.m. — Kehoe Building — University Police was notified of a suspicious person that had been seen inside Kehoe during the day on April 5, making inquiries regarding student organizations. A report was filed.
2:01 p.m. — Whiteface Hall — University Police and the Plattsburgh City Police attempted to serve an arrest warrant on a campus guest who was reportedly staying at Whiteface Hall. The person was not located. Plattsburgh Police took the subject into custody later in the day at an off campus location. A report was filed.
4:58 p.m. — Beekman Street — University Police investigated a two-car property damage automobile accident on Beekman Street. A report and DMV accident report were filed.
1:09 a.m. — Sanborn Avenue — University Police arrested Jake Lestrange of 60A Whiteface Hall and charged him with failure to obey a one way sign and driving while ability impaired by drugs/alcohol. He was released to a third party on appearance tickets.
1:52 p.m. — South Catherine Street — Plattsburgh City Police arrested Markus Dixon of 17 Renaissance Village Way, Plattsburgh, NY and charged him with third degree assault. He was held for arraignment at the Plattsburgh City Court.
3 p.m. — Sibley Hall — University Police and Plattsburgh Fire Department ambulance responded to Sibley Hall for a Third Age client having a seizure. The client was transported to CVPH. A report was filed.
7:15 p.m. — Feinberg Library — A staff member reported a suspicious male in the library. University Police responded but the male had left the area prior. The surrounding buildings and parking lots were checked but the male was not located. A report was filed.
1:25 a.m. — Macdonough Hall — University Police responded to Macdonough Hall for a female with a head laceration. The female, who is not a student, was intoxicated and had fallen and struck her head at an off campus location. She was transported to CVPH by Plattsburgh Fire Department ambulance. A report was filed.
2:19 a.m. — Wilson Hall — University Police responded to Wilson Hall for a report of a possibly intoxicated individual needing assistance. The individual could not be located. While investigating this incident, two resident students were found to be in possession of alcohol and marijuana. A report and college charges were filed.
3 p.m. — Kent Hall — University Police responded to a report of the odor of marijuana in Kent Hall. Officers were unable to locate the source odor. A report was filed.
4:47 p.m. — Memorial Hall — University Police conducted checks of the Shine On event at Memorial Hall. A report was filed.
7:30 p.m. — Whiteface Hall — University Police checked on a group of suspicious males near the main entrance. The group had moved on prior to police arrival. A report was filed.
8:29 p.m. — Parking Lot 18 — University Police responded to a report of a slashed tire on a vehicle in lot 18. A vehicle with a damaged tire was located and the owner was contacted. The owner stated that the damage was from hitting a pothole. A report was filed.
